Website usage terms and conditions

Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy and delivery information govern lovefurnitureuk’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

The term ‘lovefurnitureuk’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Chester, CH1 5NR. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

  1. Basis of sale

The contract between you the buyer and us lovefurnitureuk will not become bound until full payment has been received, after which the full terms and conditions along with privacy policy and delivery will come into force.

The buyer must ensure all details provided are accurate. Any incorrect contact details may delay the process of order and the date of contract will only commence once these have been verified.

Lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to cancel any order without prejudice at any time ensuring all monies are refunded where applicable. On notification of cancellation from the seller to buyer, any contract formed will be deemed as cancelled.

If the seller is not able to supply the goods within a reasonable time as the buyer sees fit which falls outside of the timescale quoted, the buyer reserves the right to cancel and receive a full refund where applicable.

  1. Description of product and service

All product descriptions including dimensions are approximate and designed to give an indicative description to the buyer.

Images will represent the product you will receive. As screen resolutions and pixels can vary, colours may appear a different shade than the actual image.

Lovefurnitureuk offer a full product set up and packaging removal service. At peak times, from certain suppliers and product offers lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to offer the customer a basic delivery to the door service. This will be made clear once an order has been placed and the buyer has the option to cancel.

Any items featured within the product photographs that are not outlined in the product description do not form part of the contract and are for lifestyle and illustrative purposes only. Such items include but are not limited to bedding, lamps, ornaments and pictures.


  1. Pricing and payment of goods

All prices as advertised include VAT and delivery. In the event of a pricing mistake lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to cancel the order and where applicable refund the customer in full. The seller is not obligated to fulfil any order where an inaccurate price has been published.

The contract between the buyer and seller only comes into force once payment has been received in full. Lovefurnitureuk will not attempt to deliver any goods until cleared payment has been received.

Lovefurnitureuk accept major credit and debit cards excluding American Express. Lovefurnitureuk also accept Paypal, BACS and cheque.


  1. Delivery of goods

All timeframes quotes are approximate and in peak trading times may run over. Lovefurnitureuk will not be held responsible nor will any claims for compensation be considered where a delivery has gone over the anticipated timeframe.

Unless otherwise stated delivery will include assemble, placement and packaging removal. Not all customers will require this service and it will be the customer’s responsibility to opt out of this service. Where a customer has opted out but later requires product setup and placement, this will be at the discretion of Lovefurnitureuk who may offer this service at a later date at a premium.

It will be the customer’s responsibility to set up and remove of packaging if this free service was not completed at the time of delivery. Where this is the case any damage will not be the responsibility of the seller once the delivery driver has left the premises and goods signed for.

During peak times or for orders with a value of less than £250, lovefurnitureuk reserves the right to deliver only with no set up and packaging removal. Written notice of this will be given before hand .

At the time of delivery it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any loss or damage is discussed with the driver and noted on all delivery paperwork. Once the driver has left lovefurnitureuk will not be obligated to consider any such cases.

If at the time of deliver an item(s) is found to be missing or damaged and noted, Lovefurnitureuk will endeavor to correct the error within 28 days. No compensation claims will be considered however Lovefurnitureuk will ensure redelivery is made outside of working hours if required to ensure no further time of the customers is taken.

Once a delivery date has been confirmed it is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure someone responsible is home to accept delivery. Delivery times are approximate and can run at peak trading times from 7am – 9pm. Lovefurnitureuk will always call when one hour away.

Where a delivery date has been confirmed but the customer is not home to accept, all orders will be returned to the seller free of charge. Lovefurnitureuk will place this order at the back of the queue and a new date will be given as soon as one is available to ensure other customers are not waiting longer than anticipated.


  1. Cancellation

The buyer has the right to cancel an order from the moment it is placed up to 14 days of your order being received. Lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to refuse to refund or part refund unwanted goods that have been used. Please ensure you are entirely happy with your purchase before items are used.

All cancellations must be put in writing via email to sales@lovefurnitureuk.com detailing the reason for cancellation, quality of item(s) and in the event of items being unwanted photographic proof of the goods in their original packaging. Lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to levy a charge of £50 - £300 collection fee for any unwanted items which will be clearly discussed before hand. Alternatively the consumer is welcome to return goods at their own cost and risk.

As the service offered by lovefurnitureuk means the driver in some cases will assemble and place goods where required and remove of packaging, it is the buyers responsibility to keep the packaging if not 100% sure on whether to keep the item. If goods require collection once the packaging has been disposed of the seller reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of repackaging.

Lovefurnitureuk reserve the right to refuse to collect and refund any items where accidental or deliberate damage has been made. Lovefurnitureuk must clearly state in writing to the consumer their reasons for their decision along with any supporting evidence. The customer will always have the right to appeal against this decision and where an outcome cannot be agreed a third party product inspection can be arranged by contacting FIRA (fira.co.uk) at a cost to the customer.
